Im pretty proud of myself right now, My boss and all the guys and ladies I work with are all into their blogs and websites, which I must say are very good, but I don’t even have a My Space. Until I started working at The Bicycle Escape I never thought of making a blog or doing anything online other than using it for research. All the employees at the shop have their input into The Bicycle Escape blog and all have their own website or the own message board or something. I wanted to try and be hip like all the rest of the employees. I thought I would post a comment on the bike shop's blog.
Well.... there’s a little thing most people call common sense and I seem to not have any of it. I was all excited to post something on the blog. I clicked on the post a comment link and instead of just posting something I thought I had to sign up to Blogger. Well I did, I went through all this mess to post a comment. I got my comment posted. When I went to work that night I told Tom (my boss) what I had done and how I had posted a comment on the blog. I was so proud of myself and was expecting Tom to be the same. But.... instead he looked at me and asked if I had really signed up and did all this and signed up and made a blog, and I go, yea, isn’t that what you’re supposed to do? Well it wasn’t what I was supposed to do.
But the moral of the story is that now after making a mistake and not having common sense I now have a Blog. Not only do I have a blog but I figured out how to work the blog, post, add links, videos and pictures. Not bad for someone who doesn’t have common sense.
